Business Tips for Creatives is a project two years in the making. Two years is probably 22 months too long, but alas, it is live! Episode 7 is going live tomorrow and we are excited for the future of this podcast.
From Nick- “Fall of 2013 I started full-time self-employed with my company 29 Pixel Studios. Before that, starting 2003, I’ve been doing creative services as a side hustle. Starting with nothing, growing to out earning my ‘job-job,’ making through the great recession in stride and now hiring staff, I’ve seen a lot! Staying in the black all this time, I’ve never shied away from teaching how I’ve done it. Let’s face it, artist would rather create than plan a budget.”
The #1 goal behind Business Tips for Creatives is offer short, easy to understand business tips for (artist) entrepreneurs looking to earn $25,000 – $250,000.
To accomplish this we will interview creative professionals, picking their brain for great advice. Nick will give you a behind the scenes look at how he has run his business and insight to those decisions. Rounding out the arsenal of information will be accountants and lawyers giving the ‘official legal advice.’
