Our latest Stalingrad Documentary Film was released eleven days ago and has already amassed more than 120,000 views!
When 29 Pixel Studios first came to Army University Press, we asked “What does success look like?” This is a question every video production company should ask. There are a few metrics we consider important and to be honest, total views were not anywhere near the top of the list.
In an age where we use the word “millions” to label view count, it’s easy to forget how difficult it is to get “a thousand” views. With that in mind, this made The Grain Elevator (one of four in the Stalingrad Documentary Film series) even more special. Eleven days, 120,000 views.
Additionally, we have had tremendous feedback on this film. As of this post, there are 414 comments, and an overwhelming amount are positive, insightful, appreciative comments. There are over 1,900 thumbs up and only 83 thumbs down, a ratio we are proud of.
Quick nod to Andrew and Adam, our editor and lead animator for taking each one of these films to a higher level!
Previously the team worked on the Stalingrad Documentary Film: The Campaign. This film is an ‘overview’ of World War II’s lead up to this epic battle. This documentary has also been extremely successful. Sitting at over 64,000 views, 923 thumbs up: 31 down for the year!
29 Pixel Studios worked with talented historians (General Services Administration (GSA) + Beshenich & Muir Associates LLC employees) along with talented 3D artist to create the Stalingrad Documentary Film: The Grain Elevator. This is a product 29 Pixel Studios is sub-contracted with the fine people of Loch Harbour to produce.
Please check the credits (direct link to that time-code: here) as it takes a talented group of people to create something like this.
Outside of the current contract, 29 Pixel Studios has also worked on the Stalingrad Documentary Film: The Commissar’s House. At the time of this blog has over 62,000 views, nearly 900 thumbs up to 24 down.
We are grateful to be part of this creative process and look forward to the shifting our documentary skills across the globe and a couple decades later as we take on the challenge of KOREA! Stay tuned by subscribing to the Army University Press’ YouTube channel here.
